EDUCATION FOR MINISTRY NEWS

Congratulations to Marian Brischle and Michael Shook (first year graduates) and Rick Edwards (second year graduate) of the Education for Ministry (EfM) program. EfM was begun in 1975 at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and has found growing interest ever since. Education for Ministry is a four year program in group reflection and study to support formation for Christian ministry in daily life. We have been meeting weekly with our mentor and several congregants from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Seattle. This has been a very rewarding spiritual experience for us all and we look forward to the next year that will begin in the Fall of 2023.
